Dr Shorab is a periodontist, a dentist who furthers their training to become a specialist in their field. A periodontist specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease (a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth also known as gum disease), and in the placement of dental implants. They specialise in all things related to oral surgery, the removal of teeth, crown lengething, gingiva grafts.
